Materials for Learning

A large percentage of families in Southeast Asia are scraping by in an income of less than one thousand US dollars a month and even as low as less than 500 US dollars a month. While these families need to provide for essential living expenses, such as housing, food, and clothing, they are still left with the cost of providing for the most basic of school supplies and uniforms so their children can eke out the best possible education that they can get out of their circumstances.

It is Casa Vega Scholarship Foundation’s mission to provide as many schools as possible with the essential supplies for study. It will not stop there. There are still schools requiring assistance with building repairs, essential classroom equipment and furniture with some schools even still requiring equipment as simple as desks and chairs.

When most items bear the cost of mere pennies, a dollar can go a long way to providing these students of less-fortunate families that do not have the few dollars to spare for these most basic of supplies. Schools in the outer country provinces are struggling to provide a decent environment conducive to the students’ learning.

With your help, these students can have the chance to make a difference in the world that every student deserves.
